Bio: The older son of two artists living in the small Ech’kent town of Endlyn, Sawyer grew up comfortable and happy with his family. Though he didn’t show either of his dads’ aptitude for art, he had been developing an aptitude for the business side of their work, and had been taking on an increased role in helping them sell their work in Jdinrma-Hash. This came to an abrupt end not long ago when the rebellion in which his parents were involved came to the attention of Ech’kent’s tyrannical Sorcerer King, and everyone in Endlyn was executed as a statement to the rest of the plateau’s population. Saved with only his brother, his boyfriend and his best friend to support him, Sawyer turned to Ech’kent’s old gods, the dragons, for help, and ended up nominally leading the renewed rebellion against the Sorcerer King. Until, that is, the rebellion’s main attack failed and he and his co-conspirators ended up permanent and unwilling guests in the Sorcerer King’s castle. Abandoned by their real leader, Sawyer now keeps his group together as best he can while they wait for their chance to attack again.

Modern AU: Modern Sawyer used to live a reasonably straightforward life. He went to school, he ran his parents’ online shop for them, and his biggest worry was that people would find out that he’d started having sex with his younger boyfriend and think he was a creep. All that changed when his apartment building was burned down by the mob and he, his brother, and their friends were made homeless. Now his life is equally straightforward. He goes to school, films child pornography in exchange for help getting revenge, no longer worries that people will think he’s a creep and instead worries that people will find out what he does for a living with his brother, his boyfriend and any other kids that Cassius brings home. Sawyer plays as a defender on his school’s soccer team, and has recently gotten interested in the audio-visual club as well. When not at school or work, Sawyer enjoys hiking and amateur web design. He spends a lot of his time learning how to shoot a gun and drive a car, as well as trying to come up with clever ways to resist having to film scenes with his brother.
