Oliver/Isaac, Morning Walk

Ao3 Link

“Hey, wait!”

Oliver turned around, saw Isaac hurrying up the hallway to him, his clothes only partly done up. “Good morning,” he said, waiting for Isaac. “What’s the rush?” Isaac was never in this much of a hurry, especially in the morning.

“I, uh…” Isaac was panting as he caught up. “Sorry. I wanted to walk you to class.”

Oliver smiled, fixing Isaac’s collar for him and doing up the laces on the front of his shirt. “I’m already most of the way to class.” It was actually just around the corner.

Isaac nodded, blushing a little. “Yeah, sorry. I overslept.”

“I see that,” Oliver said, nodding at Isaac’s everything. His hair was a mess too.

“Yeah, yeah, I’m a hurricane or whatever,” Isaac agreed. He reached up and brushed Oliver’s moustache. “You didn’t have time to shave this morning.”

“I didn’t shave on purpose.”

“Oh, this is your idea of a moustache, then?” Isaac teased. “Anyway, I went to your room, but you’d already left, then I ran here.”

Oliver chuckled, and laced Isaac’s pants the rest of the way up too, then knelt to do his shoes. “Well, you caught me. Want to walk me the rest of the way?”

Isaac nodded, and he put his arm in Oliver’s, and they started to walk down the hallway to the seminar room, where a few people were already gathered. Outside the door, Isaac gestured. “Here we are.”

“Thanks,” Oliver said, leaning in and kissing Isaac gently. “I love you.”

“I love you too,” Isaac muttered. “I know this was silly, okay? I just wanted to see you before class.”

“I’m glad you did,” Oliver told him. He’d wanted to see Isaac too, but he had this class so early and Isaac was rarely up that early. “I have an idea.”

“I’m listening.”

“Why don’t you sleep in my room tonight? Then you’ll see me right away tomorrow morning.”

“In your room?” Isaac smiled at that. “But Oliver, people might see.”

Oliver kissed him again. “I don’t care.” He didn’t care. He just wanted to be with Isaac.

“Okay. Let’s have lunch together.”

“Sure. I’ll see you then.”

Isaac nodded, and didn’t let Oliver go into the seminar room until he’d had another kiss.

Oliver went to class grinning, and spent half the lesson thinking about Isaac.
