Isaac really had only come to the shower room to shower and have a short break from studying, but Thomas had come in with a boner and sex was a good break from studying too, so now Isaac was on his belly on the bench while Thomas fucked him from behind.

The bench was narrow, so Isaac gripped the sides of it as Thomas’s cock filled him up, then pulled out, then filled him up again. He had a good way of thrusting, really hard and definite without being too rough, and he held Isaac’s thighs in his hands to keep him in place, driving their hips together at a steady pace, his heavy breathing filling the room as their balls touched over and over.

For a guy who liked girls, he was pretty good at buttfucking, and he had been since Isaac had met him. He’d needed very little instruction in how to make Isaac cum without touching him, which he said was because of a friend he’d had growing up. It was obvious he didn’t like to talk about it much, so Isaac had never pressed him on it, but either way, Thomas’s friend had taught him well, and after the half hour or so they’d been here, Isaac was ready to cum.

Robby took a deep breath as he stepped through the portal into Techen’s Stand. He’d been spending so much time away from it lately, in the capital and in Stag Keep with Edwin. It was nice to be back. He wished he wasn’t back.

It was so quiet everywhere, in the keep, in the town, in Robby’s head. It had been quiet in Robby’s head ever since that moment at the orgy when he’d been with Edwin and suddenly it had all just stopped. All the thoughts, all the noise that he’d lived with since Drew had come to his house and told him he was a priest and ruined his life, ruined his family’s lives. They were all gone from his head.

Lyren was gone from his head. And it was because of Edwin. Robby should have found it funny what had cleared him of the invader who’d taken control of his mind had been that Edwin fucking him for all he was worth, but it wasn’t funny. It had just happened, and Lyren was still out there. Andif Robby wasn’t careful, he’d get Robby again, and all the people Robby loved.

Robby was being very careful.

Thomas had Klaus’s threads on him. So did Neil and Ezekiel, and Samantha and Darla, and Isaac wasn’t done checking all the girls yet because he didn’t share a dorm with them. It was harder to check apprentices and faculty, but Isaac had found strings on one apprentice he didn’t know well named Rita, as well as on Elijah, Audry and two other faculty.

He was everywhere, even more than Isaac had thought he would be. Doing this spell had been a huge mistake. How was Isaac supposed to live his life knowing this about so many people? How was he supposed to spend time with his friends knowing that Klaus could be controlling them, watching him?

He didn’t want to think like that. It had been one thing when he’d known it was Nicholas, because Nicholas was one person. He didn’t want to spend all his time worrying about everyone he met. But he didn’t know how to make himself not think about it now that he knew. Klaus was everywhere.

Isaac was quite proud of himself.

After several hours of concerted effort that had left him hating the Web, he’d learned how to use it to go back in time like Seth did and watch historical things. It turned out it was a lot easier to care about historical things when he was watching them happen rather than reading about them in books, though it was also harder to understand them since most of what he was watching was just people sitting around talking in languages he didn’t know or walking places, or battles where he didn’t really get what was happening. So for the first little bit he’d mostly just gone back to watch himself fuck people, but that had gotten a bit weird, so he’d gone to find some of the stuff he’d remembered from history class.

He had found a few cool things, despite nothing cool happening in all of history. It turned out that King Otto’s naked army really had fought naked, and often hard, too. Plus they’d had orgies in their camp, which had been cooler than the actual battle, which Isaac hadn’t been able to watch. He’d fantasized about Otto in class, the last king of a kingdom that didn’t exist anymore in the area where Isaac’s family lived. When he’d suggested that ‘removing their armour’ had probably meant naked, Hugo had told him that was a mistake. But he’d been right. Also, Otto had been really cute, and had liked getting fucked by his soldiers, and a lot of other people. Seemed like someone Isaac could have been friends with.

Cal was starting to hate churches.

“There’s nobody in there,” Mick said, finishing up his magic. “Not that that means much, really. I guess Klaus will probably teleport in.”

“Most likely wearing someone else’s body,” Sully added with a heavy sigh. “I still think you should have let me tell Cameron and Raphael.”

Cal nodded, just looking at the mural over the church. Saint Lyra, stopping storms, and Saint Stephen, stopping nightmares. He had never gotten around to asking Bartholomew why they were up there together. Also, he really didn’t want to talk to Bartholomew, but he hadn’t been able to think of anywhere else to do this in the moment. “I want to talk to him first. Just because Rawen wants him dead doesn’t mean that killing him is a good call.”

“Really,” Travis agreed. “Doing what Rawen wants is probably all around a bad call.”

“Probably, but not killing him just because Rawen wants him dead is probably also shortsighted,” Wes said.

Joey was sulking a little, which might have been because Cal had made him wear clothes again. “You guys are making this too complicated. If he’s evil, we should kill him.”
